So you’ve made it through the resume writing step of your job search, but it’s not over yet. An interview is the ultimate way to stand out to an employer, and it is also the way to make or break the deal. However, it’s important to remember that although the hospital has numerous questions for you, it is also the time for you to ask questions as well! |
-Assess your skills and accomplishments so that you will be able to emphasize these upon interviewing -Research the organization with whom you are interviewing. This will impress the interviewers and will show your degree of interest -Prepare for questions that may be asked of you. Do you have examples of your skills in action, how you’ve reacted to certain situations, etc. -Come prepared with questions to ask the interviewers. Don’t forget that this is the time for you to learn more about the job as well! -Arrive early to the interview -Dress professionally -Come prepared with copies of your resume and letters of reference -Ask when you’ll be notified of the decision -Thank the interviewers! |
